2. Critical issues for solar integration
For space heating of production halls, well-insulated production halls are recommended. Façade integrated collectors reduce the problem of stagnation and overheating during summer time (“Generic Systems”, 3nd Draft, W.Weiss, D.Jähnig, AEE Intec). In the case of closed solar systems, the process medium is recycled and therefore should be of acceptable quality both for the maintenance of the solar system and for the efficiency of the process. If necessary, the medium should be refreshed regularly (Joanneum Research).
