Spirits are types of alcoholic beverages containing alcohol from distillation process of fermented liquids. They are made from wine or from fruit, potatoes or starch after their fermentation due distillation. Required is an alcohol level of min. 32 Vol% but much higher levels can be achieved. During storage or before filling spirits are diluted with water. Liquors contain lower level of alcohol level (20-35 Vol%). Often they are aromatized with fruit, herbs, essences or extracts.
