Description
In reception, sludge is produced in filtration and clarification of milk. It consists mostly of dirt, cells from the cows’ udders, blood corpuscles and bacteria.
Valorisation techniques
Sludge from milk clarification and filtration can be used as co-substrate for biogas production.
